Dr Edward Bach, a famous bacteriologist and homeopath who developed flower essences during the 1930s in England, believed that disease was the result of the soul and the self-being out of harmony and that by treating one’s personality, physical symptoms would often lessen or disappear. He came to the conclusion that illness begins in the emotional body before it manifests in the physical body. His dictum “treat the patient, not the disease,” is a perfect summary of what the work with flower essences is about. The essences are made in an esoteric manner by working subjectively with the spirit of the plant. The floating blossoms are placed in spring water and infused with sunlight (sometimes moonlight). They are later diluted in brandy (or sometimes other stabilizers), and water, until no chemical effects from the plant are present.
Like homoeopathy, flower essences teach; “less is more.” In these energetic methods of healing, we come to value and work with the pattern of manifestation before it takes form on the physical plane.
Gem essences are made similarly, but with infusing water with the energetic imprint of the gemstone. They work more directly on disharmony and issues in the physical body and are helpful for strengthening physical, emotional and mental health. As a result, gem essences (and any essence!) can sometimes cause an initial detox reaction. My intuitive essence combinations are generally created with less gem and more flower essences.
What to Expect in a Session
In these sessions the client discusses what they desire, would like to change, heal or transform.
I may use and do a PET – Partnership Energy Transmission –a scan and protocol developed by Delta Gardens, for using the essences during energy sessions.
I choose the appropriate essences and create a specific synergistic combination of the essences to be taken orally by the client (from a small dosage bottle) for a few weeks, a couple of times a day or more.
I may also administer the essences through frequency transmission for distance sessions.
I explain the properties and possible effects of the essences intuited. Either during the session and/or an audio is sent afterwards.
In-person clients also receive the benefit of taking a condensed version of the combination of essences during the session.
We check-in as to what they feel/experience. Check-ins are also available while they are experiencing the essence over time.
Flower essences work subtly, yet powerfully, on all levels of the human/spiritual being, and are catalysts to helping release many deep issues that are causing physical symptoms.
The essences can be ingested, applied to the skin topically, and/or administered energetically.

How to Take Gem/Flower Essences
Traditionally taken in drops under the tongue. Be sure to first shake the bottle, and not to touch the dropper to anything. Store them out of sunlight and extreme temperatures. They are also effective in a glass of water, added to bathwater, sprayed in the air, or used topically. Since they are vibratory medicines, many clients find them helpful even when they are not ingested.
How Gem/Flower Essences Can Support You
Such essences are powerful catalysts for change in our lives. Is there anything you would like to change in your life? Limiting or negative beliefs, or persistent thoughts, moods, or conditions, drain life force and are not reflective of our core sexual essence. “I’d been on a variety of meds over the last 5-10 years (I can’t remember how long, or what I’ve tried… but was most recently on Venlafaxine). What for? Mostly social anxiety. I can’t figure out if I’m really an introvert or a just an anxious extrovert. My proper diagnosis is probably “stereotypical engineer.” I call it my 7/8ths life crisis. Depression. Some sense of hopelessness; that life has passed me by in a lot of ways. I’m firmly lodged in the tunnel I recently learned about.
I went off my meds this summer with a slow taper to zero ending in June. Why? I don’t necessarily feel like they helped me in any substantial way. I felt dulled. Less ability to think clearly. I used to be able to do a lot of things intuitively and work things out in my head; but now I’m relegated to calculators, writing things down, and most often giving up as solving whatever decision was just too hard. And then I tried this minuscule flower thing buried in three drops of brandy. And it fucking works for me. Nobody more surprised than me.
